don't tan...it makes them more noticable. nothing will get rid of them, and nothing really helps for them to fade other than time.

Stretchmarks....uggh....
by d0rkyd00d inhello all, i'm 17/m, and i lift weights a lot.
unfortunatey, i've been cursed with stretchmarks, and i've had them since before i started lifting (since about 13).
i've tried everything from cocoa butter to vitamin e oil, nothing makes them go away.

rummy, sorry this has happened to you. i think you should check into this more and talk to docs about it. i know that my dad had tried to get a reversal about 10 years after he had a vasectomy, and the doctors told him that there would be a very minimal chance that it would be succesful, so he never bothered to do it. but you should really discuss this situation with a professional.
isp, i agree. my dad was also interviewed (with my mom) about the decision, and several discussions took place before the operation. hmmm. you'd think that a doctor would at least try to get rummy to reconsider the operation, given the circumstances. did he, rummy??

ever since i've come to this board, you take every opportunity possible to imform everyone else how sad you are, do you ever give encouragement back to others, or have you always been like this, doing your best to stay as miserable as can be?.
you know theres lots of people here who would like to help you, given the chance, in fact i can't even be bothered to give you any encouragement this time, cos all you do every time you see someone in chat is tell them how lonely and sad you are.

mommy, i agree with your posts . it took me forever to get logi to even somewhat trust me. most of the people that cry and whine about logi being sad and depressed all the time have no fucking idea how many hours/days you, i and others have spent talking with him and trying to really help him. they have maybe tried to email him a few times, or tried to talk to him in chat a couple times, but they haven't really tried to get to know him. and i will be the first person to say that logi has been the hardest person for me to get to know!!! he can be incredibly difficult and stubborn. but i have the patience to sit and try to get through to him. some people dont, and i don't think there is anything wrong with that at all, but just ignore him if he bothers you. there is no need to bitch and moan about him, he already knows what he needs to do, he just hasn't got around to doing it yet. there are a few people on this board who annoy the hell out of me, but it isn't hard to avoid them. this is the internet, not real life. you can pick and choose who you want to hear from, and talk to.

My future plans

after my father retires in about 5 years i will take over the business and place my roommate eliud as the manager.
i will buy a blockbuster franchise and spend most of my time running it.

gil, just glad you are trying to get your thoughts and life sorted out. take your time, don't rush. make decisions which are going to benefit you in the long run, not just bring you temporary relief.
try to take the time to plan and do things the right way (learned from naeb ).
